Malling Utilities is a newly established Kent contractor — but the hands doing the work have 20 years’ experience in underground utilities and groundworks.
Our story
Straight-talking, properly done.
Malling Utilities was set up to do underground utility work the right way — accredited, insured and backed by real experience, not corners cut. The company may be new, but with 20 years on the tools we’ve seen and solved the problems that come up on site.
We’re based in West Malling and Coxheath and work across Kent and the South East. We handle water, gas, electric and drainage, run our own plant, and cover both reactive emergencies and planned installations — one team from the first dig to the live connection.
We’re honest about being new: our Google reviews are only just starting. What we can stand behind is the experience, the accreditations, the insurance and the real jobs in our gallery.

National Plant Operators Registration Scheme
Certified to operate the plant we run — excavators, dumpers and site machinery.
Construction Industry Training Board
Health, safety & environment tested to construction-industry standard.

Water Industry Registration Scheme (LRQA)
Company registration to lay new water infrastructure and connect to the public water network as a Self-Lay Organisation.
National Electricity Registration Scheme (LRQA)
Company registration to connect to the public electricity network.
Fully insured
We carry £2m Public Liability and £10m Employers’ Liability insurance — cover in place from day one.
First aid trained
Our team holds First Aid and Mental Health First Aid — because a safe site is a well-run site.

Based in West Malling. Covering Kent & the South East.
We work out of West Malling and Coxheath, right across Maidstone, the Malling villages, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and the Medway towns — and further into Kent, London and the South East on the right job.
